Demon Slayer: Mugan Train Finally Arrives In BD Theaters. Are You Watching It This Time?

Ah yes, another anime movie officially in BD movie cinemas. Are you willing to fork in 400tk to see the movie? Support the anime industry moving into BD? No? Well then deal with your crappy standards of buying terribly copy printed mangas from local stores, because the people with good tastes, connoisseurs like ourselves will cherish this film. Even if some of us don’t exactly like it for particular reasons. We’ll watch Demon Slayer: Mugan Train without a hitch.

If you didn’t know by now, there was another movie that released in BD with official licensing for theaters. It was called Dragon Ball Broly. What happened to that film? It flopped in BD. Ironic enough, people in here were asking for the film to come. Yet very few people came, with the large amassed audiences watching anime, only few showed up.

Though thanks to the pandemic, it is quite difficult to put our hearts into supporting this, we still endure to do so.

Do Your Part

Live-Action movies have been premiering in BD, simultaneously to worldwide release, thanks to it being a good part of the worldwide gross revenue. If anime can’t find the same success, there won’t be gateways to other things. Like conventions, distributions of real, authentic localized mangas, watching variety of anime from your local TV block, Japanese industry acknowledging us. Are we really being cheap, in this year?

If you have financial issues, no pressure. Not pressing you to loot for cash. But if your other reasons are because you don’t feel like it’s worth the cause, or you’ve watched it pirated, then your opinions don’t really matter. For all the asinine reasons you could have, some of you are too much of hypocrites even.

This film doesn’t need family members to come, your cousins, your group of school friends who have no interest in the medium, nor your university pals. It needs people you know who can enjoy it. Anime’s popularity has grown a lot over the years thanks to TV channels like Animax, Toonami from Cartoon Network, AXN, and so on. With so many of you, least close to 10,000 tickets, butts on the seat will justify putting more Anime movies on this part of the world map.

Movie’s Alright

I haven’t watched it yet, I am hoping to soon. Opinions are positive to mixed from what I’ve seen and heard. But yeah, the action is top-notch, the animation and visuals are amazing, this is quite a roller-coaster ride. Though you could cherry-pick your preferable anime, because this season is really packed with good stuff. This movie is a good time, you won’t feel like you’ve wasted your money. Unless you hold high standards.

Demon Slayer: Mugan Train premiered in the 18th this month, in BD. Just almost 2 days ago.
