Borderlands Movie Wraps, Now At Post-Production

Ya, it’s a wrap. The borderland movie is finally done shooting. With all the casts done for their roles and are now just waiting till it premieres once post-production is done. Director Eli Roth is pretty enthused about the project, so much so that he decided to share a photo of ClapTrap voiced by Jack Black.

With theater chains coming back into full array thanks to the recent vaccinations, the movie is prepping up for a full release, hopefully by fall this year. Starring a large ensemble cast with Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Gina Gershon, Jack Black, Jamie Lee Curtis, Florian Munteanu, Charles Babalola, and so on.

The film finished principal photography, and the official Twitter page giving an update about the film’s wrap-up. One strange thing that stands out is the “See you at the theaters in 20”. 20 Weeks maybe? Could be a Borderlands reference.

Eli Roth is helming the movie, with Craig Mazin of Chernobyl having penned the script. His last recent him was The House with a Clock in Its Walls. Which was a PG flick. That should be surprising considering his prior films were gore fest horror films like Cabin Fever and Hostel series.

The film should be released sometime in 2022 or maybe a lot sooner than that. Indications or not, usually a film after being wrapped up, post-production usually takes a lot longer to finish.
