iPhone 13 Is Here With A15 Chip, 5 Colors, And Cheaper Price

Apple packed the follow-up to the iPhone 12 series with a slew of new features, including longer battery life, at its September event. The A15 chip iPhone 13 is finally here, after nearly a year of rumors and leaks. Apple announced the iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max with different color variants during a virtual event on Tuesday, following up on last year’s iPhone 12.

The new phones have a bigger battery, more storage, a new A15 Bionic processor, a smaller notch, and a slew of new camera features.

iPhone 13 Colors

Pink, blue, midnight (black), starlight (white), and Product Red are the five colors available on the base model of the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini variants. Moreover, the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max also get a major camera upgrade and a new display with a 120Hz high refresh rate.

Pricing

The iPhone 13 starts at $829 (£779, AU$1,349) for 128GB without a carrier discount, which is twice as much storage as the iPhone 12. For the same 128GB of storage, the iPhone 13 Mini starts at $729 (£679, AU$1,199). However, if you buy an iPhone 13 or 13 Mini from a US carrier, you’ll get a $30 discount, just like the iPhone 12.

The iPhone 13 Pro starts at $999 (£949, AU$1,699) for 128GB of storage, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max starts at $1,099 (£1,049, AU$1,849). Nevertheless, for the first time, you can purchase an iPhone with 1TB of storage. Only the Pro models get the extra storage, which raises the price of an iPhone 13 Pro Max to $1,599.

A15 Chip

Apple’s new A15 Bionic chip is used in all models of the new iPhone 13, and iOS 15 is installed on all of them. Apple’s MagSafe charging and the accessory system still supported on all of the new phones, as well as 5G.
