Today, a student from Dhaka Central Jail took the “Kha” unit entrance test at Dhaka University. Prof Dr. Abu Md Delwar Hossain, dean of Dhaka University’s art faculty and chairperson of the admission committee, verified the facts.
According to Golam Rabbani, the university took the student’s exam under exceptional circumstances after a court order. Indeed, directing the institution to enable the applicant to take the admission test from jail.
“As per the High Court’s orders, we arranged for the student to appear in the DU admission test from jail,” he added.
Moreover, the candidate’s test was taken at Dhaka Central Jail by Md Anamul Hoque, assistant professor of Music Department, Dr. S M Masum Baki Billah, assistant professor of Islamic Studies Department, and a proctor office employee, according to the proctor.
Because of the student’s privacy, the university officials did not reveal his identity.
DU Admission Test In Hospital?
The university officials made special arrangements for a Covid-infected applicant admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital during the ‘Ka’ unit entrance exams on Friday.
Additionally, the ‘Ka’ unit examinations kicked off DU University’s admission test for the 2020-2021 academic year on Friday. On Saturday, 47,632 students competed for 2,378 spots in the ‘Kha’ unit exams.
